Milan’s theatre has been waiting for a new production of Wagner’s Ring for ten years. The first instalment of this epic tetralogy: The Rhinegold\, staged by David McVicar and conducted by Christian Thielemann. Michael Volle’s Wotan\, Wolfgang Ablinger-Sperrhacke’s Mime and Okka von der Damerau’s Fricka truly stand out among the German cast. \nBe inspired by the world of Fornasetti visiting in private their atelier in the city where imagination and reality floats\, enriched by cultural references and artistic allusions.
