There are countless reasons to love Berlin. Its architectural heritage is vast, ranging from the rococo splendor of Charlottenburg Palace to the futuristic design of Potsdamer Platz. The city’s activities span a remarkable spectrum, including the prestigious collections on Museum Island and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed workers’ housing estates. You can unwind in the Tiergarten or enjoy the breathtaking view from the top of the iconic Television Tower, experiencing the heartbeat of this vibrant city.
For this trip, we’re offering three diverse evenings. First, a recital by Joyce DiDonato, performing Schubert’s profoundly moving Winter Journey. Then, two operas in contrasting styles: Wagner’s Parsifal, featuring an exceptional cast (Andreas Schager, René Pape, Elīna Garanča), and Bellini’s bel canto masterpiece Norma, sung by the renowned American soprano Rachel Willis-Sørensen.
