"Currently, the availability of SAF is limited," says Luxembourg-based private jet operator Luxaviation. "There are only a few airports in Europe and the US that offer SAF." However, Luxaviation itself is in the process of exploring the possibilities of actively contributing to the development of SAF and increasing its availability, it says. The private jet operator supports the use of synthetic fuel "as long as the structure of the mandate ensures a level playing field for all industry players."
